LRF HORSE UPDATE:
BELLAMENTARY continues to impress in the mornings, prompting trainer Phil D’Amato to say “She may be the best two-year-old I have right now.” Look for her to debut towards the end of August.
CHAULK O LATTEY went “gate to wire” in impressive fashion winning an allowance race at Del Mar on Saturday July 25. Trainer Richie Baltas indicated he may take a look at the Solana Beach Handicap next for the CA Bred filly.
KLUTE and RIRI both had exceptional first breezes here in Southern California at San Luis Rey for trainer Phil D’Amato. The two LRF two-year-old fillies could debut later this summer here in Del Mar.
UNUSUAL TASTE gave bettors (and LRF Partners) a nice return on investment with his come from behind win in an allowance race at Del Mar on Saturday, July 25. Sent off at 15-1 odds and ridden masterfully by Santiago “Code Red” Gonzales, Taste earned over $56,000 in his victory and burned a lot of pick six players.
