Billy started attending the races with his family before he could walk. He began syndicating horses right out of Northwestern (Go CATS!) back in 1991. When he founded LRF in 2002, he did so on a wing and a prayer, and only his love for the sport to fall back on. Billy is thankful he has a job he loves and grateful to all the LRF partners for providing him with an opportunity to follow his dreams.

Gary began his career as an entertainment attorney with the William Morris Agency before breaking his parents hearts and leaving the industry to run a horse racing business with his childhood friend. Gary's passion and love for the horses dates back to the 1980s, having attended the first Breeders' Cup in 1984. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Thoroughbred Owners of California, serving as Chairman since 2021. He is also a member of The Jockey Club, serving as a Steward since 2024. When not at the races, he spends time with his wife Katie and their sons, Brady & Carter (and attends the occasional Los Angeles Kings hockey game).
