Singletary electrified the racing world in 2004 when he captured the G1 Breeders’ Cup Mile. Singletary proved that dreams can come true with a modest priced horse. Purchased for $30,000, Singletary earned almost two million dollars on the race track and became a stallion in California. He won at age two, three, four and five and dominated the California grass division in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
Egg Drop, better known as the "White Witch", became one of the sports most popular horses in 2013, when she rattled off three straight graded stakes wins at three different racetracks. The grey daughter of Alphabet Soup's finest moment came in the final running of the GI Matriarch Stakes where she showed her true grit and determination by coming back when she looked defeated. Egg Drop was sold by LRF to Bridlewood Farm in the Keeneland 2014 Breeding Stock Sale for $1.9M.
Known as The Iron Mare, Hot n’ Dusty’s career spanned 23 races in 15 months. She earned $345,971 from 4 wins, and 17 in the money finishes (74%). But for her 4th place finish to Zenyatta she ended her career with 15 consecutive finishes in the money. Besides her obvious ability to rebound quickly from races her versatility made it easy to select races for her. She earned $170,975 on synthetic surfaces and $174,996 on the turf. She raced at three tracks, on six different racing surfaces and won at distances ranging from 6.5 furlongs to a mile and sixteenth.
Saint Isballe was not the biggest horse in the LRF stable, but she was without question one of the best. Unfortunately, her career was cut short after just nine races for LRF, but it was enough time to leave an indelible mark. Izzy, as she was affectionately known, won four of her nine starts while only finishing off the board once. Izzy won at all three major So Cal tracks and capped her career with a authoritative victory in the Time to Leave Stakes at Santa Anita. She was sold privately after this race after earning $177,680.
Del Mar’s All-time leading stakes winner, Midnight Storm was one of the most versatile and fastest horses of our generation. A multiple graded stakes winner on Turf, Midnight Storm captured the GI Shoemaker Mile in impressive wire to wire fashion. Midnight Storm then went on to become a multiple graded stakes winner on dirt, including the GII San Pasqual Stakes and the GIII Native Diver. Midnight Storm joins Triple Crown winner American Pharaoh as the only sons of Pioneerof The Nile with six or more Beyer Performances of 105+.
In January of 2018, Fault was purchased privately by LRF and transferred into the barn of trainer Phil D’Amato. The bay daughter of BC Classic hero Blame won her very first start - on turf - when she captured the G2 Buena Vista Stakes at Santa Anita. Next up, Fault turned in the performance of her career when dominating the GI Santa Margarita Stakes - on dirt - by over six lengths earning a 101 Beyer in the process. Fault kept her winning streak alive when she captured the G3 Adoration in the final start of her career. She was sold as a broodmare in November for $1.1M.
Midnight Miley started her career in Southern California where she broke her maiden at Del Mar in the fall of 2014. However, her HOF career started upon arriving in Canada during the fall of 2015. Trainer Julia Carey was the key and the daughter of two-time BC Sprint winner, Midnight Lute, went on a tear north of the border. Miley would win three stakes at Woodbine, including the G3 Ontario Matron Stakes and the G3 Seaway Stakes. She would be honored with the Sovereign Award in 2016 for Champion Older Mare.
