New Horse - LRF Buys Hard Bill From Chile
Hard Bill is the latest South American sensation to join the LRF barn. From the sire Hardy II, this Chilean import is seven for eight lifetime – losing his only race by a nose! He enters the barn of Mike Puype, who trains two other South American LRF imports, El Manuel and Wing Forward.
“How can you not be excited about a horse like this? He’s a stone cold runner who is a nose away from being undefeated!” exclaimed Puype. “I am putting up my own money up for this one and will own him with LRF.”
Hard Bill broke the Chilean record for 7.5 furlongs in his last stakes win (Clasico Comparacion) clocking 1:26.89 while carrying 130lbs. They consider him the best miler (one turn) in Chile right now.
LRF expects Hard Bill to clear customs in a few weeks and be in training by the start of November.
