LRF Chicago Partnership Forming Now

In 2004, Little Red Feather Racing’s Singletary, named for the Hall of Fame Chicago Bear Linebacker, won the $1.5M GI Breeders’ Cup Classic. The win put LRF on the map and turned LRF into one of the most prominent racing syndicates in the country. For the first time, LRF will bring its brand of racing excitement to the Windy City and midwest.

The Chicago based partnership will feature two
exceptionally bred fillies, ready to make their debuts at an early age. Both two-year-old fillies will be trained by one of Arlington Park’s top trainers Danny Peitz. Peitz, a trainer since 1987, has since campaigned GI winner Capote Belle and the GI placed Steppenwolfer, who finished third in the 2006 Kentucky Derby.

Both fillies are currently in training in Flordia at the farm of LRF Bloodstock Consultant Tom McCrocklin. The fillies have classic two-turn pedigrees yet are precocious enough to compete early in this, their two-year-old season. They are on schedule to ship to Peitz’s Arlington barn in mid-July and could debut in early August. Once the Arlington season ends in September, the fillies will most likely move to the prestigious Keeneland meet.
