New Bay Ready for Grade I Triple Bend

LRF’s New Bay, part of the first ever LRF Claiming Fund, will look to pay further dividends this Saturday in the Grade I Triple Bend Handicap at Hollywood Park.

New Bay, claimed for $50,000 in May, posted victory in his very first start for Claiming Fund I on June 6, 2010. He is scheduled to take on the Baffert-trained E Z’s Gentlemen, M One Rifle, and GI winner Gayego.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled for our partners,” said LRF Managing Partner Billy Koch. “This is what it’s all about. We love running in the big races. I’m looking forward to a fun day with my partners.”
