Wing Forward makes it back to back wins

Wing Forward made it two for two in the US with a head victory in a non-winners of two other than allowance race at Hollywood Park on November 23. Unlike his first race when he trailed the field, Wing Forward was closer to the pace in the mile and sixteenth turf race. Racing between horses down the backstretch, Wing Forward was angled out for the stretch drive by Jose Valdivia Jr. and powered to the lead and ultimately hung on for the victory. It was another great training job by Mike Puype who has penciled in a spot for Wing Forward in the Sir Beaufort Stakes on opening day at Santa Anita (12/26).
