Tebowing
Sire: Fusaichi Pegasus
Dam: Eyes Aglow
YOB: 2010 Filly

Tebowing took our breath away when we first saw her. “She’s long and leggy and powerful,” said McCrocklin. “She had a fire in her eye and a bounce to her step.” From sire Fusaichi Pegasus, who proved his worth with a dominating performance in capturing the 2000 Kentucky Derby (GI).

“FuPeg”, as he’s affectionately known, was purchased as a yearling for $4m, won 6 of 9 lifetime starts and finished with career earnings of almost $2M. After his retirement, FuPeg was sold for a reported $60M. He has gone on to produce such outstanding runners as Roman Ruler (Haskell (GI)), Haradasun, Bandini, Champ Pegasus, and recent winner of the San Felipe Stakes at Santa Anita (G2), Premiere Pegasus.

The filly’s dam is the unraced Broad Brush mare, Eye’s Aglow. Her only foal won as a two-year-old and she comes from same family that produced Eclipse Award winning Champion two-year-old Gilded Time. Gilded Time captured the 1992 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at Gulfstream Park. By a Kentucky Derby winner out of a Broad Brush mare, she’s bred to be a classic distance horse.
