My Sweet Emily
Sire: Roman Ruler
Dam: Kiss me Twice
YOB: 2007 Filly

Purchased at the February Fasig-Tipton two-year old in trainning sale in Miami, My Sweet Emily is a beautiful daughter of first crop sire and Grade I winner ROMAN RULER out of the KISSEN KRIS mare, KISS ME TWICE. She worked in 11 seconds flat at the sale and impressed purchaser Jeff Singer. “There was something about her I really liked. She had a great mind and she worked easy. I’m excited about getting her going this summer and working with Little Red Feather.”

ROMAN RULER currently ranks second in the first crop stallion standings with $1,864,808 in progeny earnings (through December 13, 2009). In fact, with three weeks left in 2009, Roman Ruler is just $8,000 shy of the leading freshman sire, Offlee Wild.

Roman Ruler’s first crop includes Grade 1 winner HOMEBOYKRIS who romped in the G1 Champagne Stakes at Belmont Park in October and Rule, Grade III winner of the Delta Jackpot on December 5, 2009. Roman Ruler has already sired 28 2YO winners from only 62 runners (45%).
