Ice Cream Truck
Sire: Pleasantly Perfect
Dam: Coconut Popsicle
YOB: 2010 Colt

After Tom McCrocklin wrote down the words “Secret Weapon” in his sales catalogue, it was only a matter of time before we had purchased Ice Cream Truck. “This is the one I’ve been waiting for,” said McCrocklin after the purchase. “He’s my kind of horse. Strong, athletic looking, superior stride.” Ice Cream Truck’s pedigree has all of the makings of a classic two-turn colt. Pleasantly Perfect retired as the fourth richest American horse in career earnings. In 2003, Pleasantly Perfect captured the Breeders’ Cup Classic (GI). The next spring, he proved the Breeders’ Cup was no fluke by winning the $5M Dubai World Cup. Pleasantly Perfect is the sire of multiple graded stakes winning mare Cozy Rosie as well as 2010 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf champion, Shared Account. The colt’s dam, Coconut Popsicle, is a stakes placed daughter of the hottest sire in the world, Smart Strike. Currently ranked second on the national sire list, Smart Strike is the sire of champion Curlin and GI winners English Channel, Looking at Lucky, and Soaring Free.
