A stunning daughter of leading sire Harlan’s Holiday, this filly breezed 21.80 at the recently concluded OBS Sale in Ocala, FL where she was purchased privately by LRF Executive Bloodstock Agent Tom McCrocklin.

McCrocklin has a knack for finding talented young horses. His most recent purchase, Kilograeme, finished fourth in the GI Santa Anita Oaks. “I love this filly,” said McCrocklin after getting her back to his farm. “I know they (consigner Ocala Stud) couldn’t separate their three fillies and the other two sold for $340,000 and $165,000. She looks like an athlete and has a powerful hind end. We’re going to have a lot of fun with her.”

Sire, Harlan’s Holiday was an incredible racehorse who captured stakes wins at two, three and four including three prestigious GI’s (Florida Derby, Toyota Blue Grass, and Donn Handicap) and over $3.6M in earnings. As a stallion, Harlan’s Holiday is currently ranked fourth on the general sire list for 2011. In just four crops, his progeny have earned over $14M. He’s is the sire of GI stakes winners Into Mischeif and Majesticperfection as well as the multiple stakes winning filly, Dynamic Holiday.

Holiday Rose will be sent to top Southern California trainer, Mike Puype. Puype is the conditioner of Superstar filly Turbulent Descent as well as LRF recent winner Saint Isabelle.
