Hard Bill broke the Chilean record for 7.5 furlongs in his last stakes win (Clasico Comparacion) clocking 1:26.89 while carrying 130lbs. At the time he was purchased by LRF and shipped to California, Hard Bill was considered the best one turn miler in Chile.
