Little Red Feather Racing and major partnership groups are enjoying an amazing 2011. LRF has vaulted to the top of the owner standings with a 28% win percentage, including seven wins through the first five weeks of
the Hollywood Park spring/summer meet. Much of LRF’s success is attributed to the work of Executive Bloodstock Agent Tom McCrocklin. Once again, with EYE PHONE, McCrocklin has found what we believe is a real “diamond in the rough”. Purchased for only $4,700 as a yearling, Eye Phone has impressed McCrocklin enough to place her in the LRF program. “She reminds me of both Russian River and Kilograeme. We purchased each of those fillies for less than $10,000 as yearlings and they more than earned their way,”
said McCrocklin. “Eye Phone is training up a storm and I truly believe she’s the type of filly who will be competitive at Del Mar this summer.” Eye Phone will be trained by Hollywood Park’s leading trainer, Mike Mitchell. Mitchell, who just eclipsed 2,500 wins, is hitting at over 40% for the current Hollywood Park meet and trains many of the LRF recent winners including Deluxe Bus, Achak, and Russian River.
