Egg Drop is a daughter of GI Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Alphabet Soup, the sire of 39 stakes winners with progeny earnings over $32M.
In 24 lifetime starts, Alphabet Soup earned over $2.9M. As a four-year-old, ‘Soup captured three stakes races including the G3 Native Diver at Hollywood Park and the G3 Del Mar Handicap.
The following year, ‘Soup showed off his talent and his versatility defeating eventual sprint Champion Lit De Justice in the G3 Pat O’Brien at seven furlongs, defeating top older horses Soul of the Matter and Dare and Go in the G2 San Antonio stakes, and finally, defeating two-time Horse
of the Year Cigar in the GI Breeders’ Cup Classic.
As a stallion, Alphabet Soup has sired 39 stakes winners who have amassed more than $32M in earnings. His top earners are GI Dubai Golden Shaheen winner Our New Recruit ($1.4M) and GI La Brea Stakes winner Alphabet Kisses ($590k). On the dam side, Egg Drop is out of the Adhocracy mare, Rehocracy. A full sister to G2 winner Redouble Miss, Rehocracy has had three foals and all are winners including $100k earner, Monhocracy.
